When I lived in Japan, up in the mountains, they would sell matsutake at stands alongside the mountain roads each fall. I also had friends who foraged for them, as they always seem to be pretty pricey.

One of the best matsutake dishes I ever had was a soup make for a festival that had bits of gold flake floating it in. Amazing! I&#039;ve never cooked with them myself though. Thanks for sharing.</description>
