Jen, I think this contest is varied and unpredictable by nature - the photos change every month as well as the judges, so you never know how the voting is going to go. Plus, it’s for fun and mostly pushing yourself to enter and just seeing what everyone else is submitting!

i have to say that i have never seen such a great number of excellent photographs submitted - the quality is just amazing and can easily compare with some of the professional photography in lots of the cookbooks I own!
and I am chuffed, of course, to see that my submission made it to runner-up… thanks and well done to the winners and everybody who participated!

I was completely impressed with how many fantastic photos there were this month, so I absolutely cannot imagine how the judges could have chosen just a few. I do have to agree about the eatability award for sure. I could take a bite of Mae’s Pad Thai right off my screen! Good Job everyone!
